Injury Prevention
To prevent injury from occurring, the athlete should:
-be in excellent physical condition
-warm up before each practice or game
-know the rules and regulations of the game
-wear proper protection and equipment
-wear proper supportive footwear
-learn how to block and tackle properly (do not use the top of your helmet to tackle or block)
-be informed about how these injuries occur so that they can avoid them
-eat a proper diet
